Snow … Week!? 2

Since we couldn’t go outside hardly at all this week, and we certainly weren’t driving anywhere, we did lots of fun stuff inside.

Tents were built.

And camped in.

Amazing works of toddler art were produced.

Yes, he is coloring on the table. Let’s all give thanks for washable markers!

Luke’s feet mysteriously grew in size.

Drums were made (using this idea).

I really like this idea because it made a whole bunch of different sounds in one instrument, and it used stuff that I already had around the house.

Pizza was made, and eaten.

Boys (and mamas) were tickled and tackled.

Although there were times when I wanted to just get out of the house, over all, we had a good time together. It was also a great opportunity to choose to be grateful for what my heavenly Father gives to me, whether than wishing for something else. Especially since being “cooped up in the house” meant the Lord has blessed me with a nice warm place to be when it’s snowing outside (not to mention that it’s comfy and shared with boys I love). I don’t deserve that, it’s only God’s grace that lavishes such kindness on me.

About Rachel

Most importantly, I am saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is more than enough to satisfy my heart. In His abundant goodness, I am also delighted to be a wife and mama. I work at home and enjoy spending most of my time caring for my husband, 2 sons and new daughter. I also try to squeeze in some creativity, coffee, chocolate, and good books.

  1. How fun! Looks like you kept your boys well entertained 🙂 I can’t believe how big Luke is. What a handsome little man! Miss you friend… love you!

  2. Really enjoy your blogs! What a joy it is to see the fun, learning and joy in your home. Luke makes the apron look really nice. Seeing pictures of Luke and Levi makes my arms ache to hold and hug them.
    Love to all.
