Since we couldn’t go outside hardly at all this week, and we certainly weren’t driving anywhere, we did lots of fun stuff inside.
Tents were built.
And camped in.
Amazing works of toddler art were produced.
Luke’s feet mysteriously grew in size.
Drums were made (using this idea).
I really like this idea because it made a whole bunch of different sounds in one instrument, and it used stuff that I already had around the house.
Pizza was made, and eaten.
Boys (and mamas) were tickled and tackled.
Although there were times when I wanted to just get out of the house, over all, we had a good time together. It was also a great opportunity to choose to be grateful for what my heavenly Father gives to me, whether than wishing for something else. Especially since being “cooped up in the house” meant the Lord has blessed me with a nice warm place to be when it’s snowing outside (not to mention that it’s comfy and shared with boys I love). I don’t deserve that, it’s only God’s grace that lavishes such kindness on me.
