Socks! ~ Finished

Standard

DSCN4101 by you.

I finally finished the second sock of my first pair! I’m so excited about them, although I only wear socks when its cold, and that’s definitely not the kind of weather we’re having around here. This one went was a lot more… um… challenging! than the last one! Somehow, as I was making the toe, I realized that sock # 2 was over an inch shorter than sock #1! This is a problem! I was trying to get both socks out of one ball of yarn, so I think I fooled myself into believing that the sock was long enough when it was definitely not! Anyway, after fixing that problem, the socks are actually the same length, and I think they’re fabulous! And I can’t wait to wear them when it gets cooler. 🙂 I guess I’ve learned to make better notes if I’m not using an actual pattern. And I’m for sure going to make more socks! Yay!

About Rachel

Most importantly, I am saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is more than enough to satisfy my heart. In His abundant goodness, I am also delighted to be a wife and mama. I work at home and enjoy spending most of my time caring for my husband, 2 sons and new daughter. I also try to squeeze in some creativity, coffee, chocolate, and good books.
