Playing in the Water

Standard

It’s been so hot around here that the only way to play outside is if there’s some sort of water involved. Otherwise, Luke’s little face turns beet red, and I just feel too bad for him.  So last week, one day we pulled the hose through the house so he could play in the water in the shade on the front side of the house.

Another day last week, we went with Auntie Ruthie and some friends to a splash pad. After much sunscreening, Luke loved playing in the water. He was pretty fearless, and loved getting splashed and exploring the water. We packed a lunch and had a little picnic with our friends, so it made for a fun, free little outing.
