My dear friend and sister-in-law (convenient, huh?) had a baby shower here this weekend. It was wonderful to see her and to celebrate with her God’s good gift of a coming baby girl.
We’re so excited about this baby girl!

I made a little set for Baby Jane:
I love how these turned out, so pretty for a sweet new baby. It was so sweet to sit, work with my hands, and pray for the little blessing that the Lord is adding to our family. I am so thankful.
Here are links to the free patterns:
Tiramisu Baby Blanket
Ribbed Baby Jacket
Ribbed Baby Hat
I used Cotton-Ease yarn, and I really liked working with it. I think its very good for baby clothes, because it can be machine washed, its soft, and sturdy. The hat and cardigan are knit, and the blanket is crochet.
The little ribbon flower on the cardigan is my favorite part. If anyone is interested in a tutorial, please leave a comment, and I’ll try to write one. I couldn’t find one anywhere on the great interwebs.
