Gifts, gifts, gifts

Lately, most of my crafting has been for gifts, and I’ve been unable to share! How terrible is that? I’m so excited to get to show you what I’ve been working on recently.

First, for our moms for Mother’s Day, I crocheted some cotton washcloths and made some home-blended lemony hand scrub (click here). It turns out cotton washcloths are a bit addicting. I think it has something to do with how fast and easy they are. Here’s a picture of the last two I made.

The solid pink one is the tulip stitch washcloth (click here for the pattern) and the green and pink one is just a granny square. They’re both crocheted out of Lily Sugar n’ Cream.

I am so thankful to God for both of the moms in our family (Bret’s and mine) and for their love and care for us, as well as their example of mothering.

About Rachel

Most importantly, I am saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is more than enough to satisfy my heart. In His abundant goodness, I am also delighted to be a wife and mama. I work at home and enjoy spending most of my time caring for my husband, 2 sons and new daughter. I also try to squeeze in some creativity, coffee, chocolate, and good books.
