Bret graduated with a masters in divinity this past Friday! I am so thankful to reflect on all the work the Lord has accomplished through him these past 3 1/2 years. There have been many times when neither of us could see how all the paper-writing, translating, and reading was going to get done, but our Almighty God provided strength and endurance to finish well. We were so blessed to have a wonderful celebration with our families. Bret’s parents, grandparents, and one brother, and my parents, grandparents, and one sister were all able to come. Here are a few pictures:

Bret is still going to be taking classes at the seminary this next semester, in preparation for starting a PhD in the fall, if the Lord wills.

About Rachel

Most importantly, I am saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is more than enough to satisfy my heart. In His abundant goodness, I am also delighted to be a wife and mama. I work at home and enjoy spending most of my time caring for my husband, 2 sons and new daughter. I also try to squeeze in some creativity, coffee, chocolate, and good books.

  1. We had a wonderful time celebrating with Bret and Rachel AND the families. What a blessing from our Lord God! There are not any words that can explain my joy but I still wanted to write something! We are praying for you both and waiting with anticipation for where the Lord leads!
