Crafty Distraction

Standard

So, I thought I would show you my works-in-progress, as they are, in their natural habitat. I’ve become rediculously distracted in the projects I’m working on all at one time. And they are all scattered around the house. Check it out:

Blue Scarf

This one is in the basket that is supposed to contain my books. Its the blue scarf I mentioned earlier, and its still on hold until I get to go buy some more yarn to finish it.

Sweet Sweater

This is the partially finished Sweet Sweater, also mentioned previously. It’s working WAY better now, but I’ve run out of yarn for this one too. Are we sensing a pattern here? It’s sitting on the end table by the couch, waiting to be finished.

Dad’s Scarf

This conglomeration of yarn is becoming a scarf for my dad. This is the project I’ve actually been working on today. Again, I’m using yarn from my stash! Yeah! This is sitting on the couch.

Christmas aprons

These are a surprise for my sisters and my mom at Christmas. Their semi-permanent home is behind my sewing machine. I’ve had these in progress all year. You can tell I’m not in to much of rush with this project.

Headband

This strip of cloth is going to just be a simple headband. I was working on it this afternoon, but had to go pick hubby up from class, and that’s where it got left.  On a total rabbit-trail, here’s what he’s working on:

Bret’s Books

I like my projects, numerous as they are, so much better than his!

About Rachel

Most importantly, I am saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is more than enough to satisfy my heart. In His abundant goodness, I am also delighted to be a wife and mama. I work at home and enjoy spending most of my time caring for my husband, 2 sons and new daughter. I also try to squeeze in some creativity, coffee, chocolate, and good books.

  1. Hee hee. I know this syndrome. I have it. Looking to my left, I see my crochet project. To my front, a card in the making. To my left, a skirt in the making. Uh oh. 😀
