Container Garden

This weekend, my husband and I got to spend some time revamping our container garden. During the summer, we grew tomatoes, bell peppers, and some herbs, but all of those plants had finished their course. We decided it was time for some new plants!

First, we took out the old dead plants.

Then, we played in the dirt.

Next, we planted a hanging basket with an aspargus fern (which apparently has nothing to do with aspargus).

Finally, here’s the forget-me-nots and the gardenia bush. The forget-me-nots have been there, but the gardenia is new- I’m excited about getting to smell gardenias on my front porch.

About Rachel

Most importantly, I am saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is more than enough to satisfy my heart. In His abundant goodness, I am also delighted to be a wife and mama. I work at home and enjoy spending most of my time caring for my husband, 2 sons and new daughter. I also try to squeeze in some creativity, coffee, chocolate, and good books.
